Shab-E-Barat Nawafil: Shab Barat is the night of blessings. This night is the 15th night of the month of Shaban every Islamic year. This night is famous for the forgiveness of all previous sins.
Every Muslim believes that on this night Allah Subhan Taala decides the life, death, wealth, health and future of every human being. On this night Muslims also worship Allah Subhan wa Taala. And ask for forgiveness before Allah.
Apologize to your close friends, relatives, neighbors, colleagues, and strangers for your past year’s non-girdar activities.
Shab-E-Barat Nawafil / Nawafil of Shab e Barat
Effective Nawafl procedure in Shab-e-Barat
- The total number of nawafils is six.
- Do the intention of two, two nawafal three times and perform regular nawafal.
- It is not necessary to read a specific surah of the Holy Quran in these nawafils.
Advantages:
- The first two nawafils out of six rak’ahs extend your life.
- The other two nawafals are for your life without any difficulties, stress or hardship.
- The third two nawafl is for the welfare of the individual.
After reading every two Nawafal, recite Surah Yasin once. Read this only once at midnight on Shab-e-Barat.
Ibadat Shab E Barat Nawafil
Then perform Maghrib prayer by doing 6 rakats 2+2+2.
- For the first time with the intention of a “long life”.
- The second time” with the intention of “dismissal”.
- Pay for the third time with the intention of “not needing creatures”.
After reading Surah Yasan one time or Surah Ikhlas 21 times after each Dugana, read “Daansif Shaban Al-Ma’zam” and recite Durood Sharif first and last.
Shab e Barat Nawafil kaTarika in Urdu
بعد نماز مغرب ٦ رکعت ٢+٢+٢ کرکے ادا کریں۔
پہلی مرتبہ “درازی عمربالخیر ہونے ” کی نیت سے
دوسری مرتبہ” “دفع بلا” کی نیت سے
تیسری مرتبہ ” مخلوق کا محتاج نہ ہونے ” کی نیت سے ادا کریں۔
ہر دوگانہ کے بعد سورۃ یٰسن ایک مرتبہ یا سورۃ اخلاص ٢١ مرتبہ پڑھنے کے بعد “دعانصف شعبان المعظم” پڑھیں اور اول و آخر درود شریف پرھیں۔

Shab e Barat Namaz Rakats
There are total 6 rakats of Shab-e-Barat prayer. They have to be read two by two. After reciting 2+2+2 Surah Yasan once or after reciting Surah Ikhlas 21 times, dua is recited for half of Sha’ban al-Ma’zam.
Shab e Barat Dua e Nisf Shaban
This dua of Shab-e-Barat is recited after every 2 rakats of Nafil. You can recite this Nawafal even after Maghrib. You can read or memorize the half dua of Sha’ban that is listed.
